If you have a problem with a product, first contact us so that, together, we can try to isolate the problem. If we are able to isolate the problem, we may elect to send you a part for replacement. Alternatively, you may be required to return the part to us in Johannesburg, or to our expert technician based in Cape Town, at our discretion, and at your expense.
Once the returned product is received and we have decided that the issue is not due to your negligence, we will repair or replace the product and send it back to the you. If we decide the product has failed due to your negligence, we will estimate the repair or replacement cost and charge you for that cost and the cost of returning it. If you decide you do not want to proceed with the repair or replacement you can pay the shipping to have it returned.
This warranty does not cover damage to the unit caused by:
- Defects, malfunction, or failures resulting from abuse, misuse, modifications, alterations, improper storage or use of unauthorized attachments.
- Damage caused by dirt or corrosion in all of its forms, including, but not restricted to rust, salt water, paint and moisture.
- Damage caused by pressure, or steam cleaning of the product. General wear and tear.
Our sole obligation under this warranty is to replace or repair, at our option, any part found to be defective. Parts replaced or repaired under this warranty are warrantied only for the balance of the warranty period. All defective parts replaced under warranty become the property of RELECTRO. For warranty repairs, you must at your expense, arrange delivery for sending your product to us. If the product has failed and it is judged by us that the failure is not the fault of the consumer the product will be repaired or replaced and sent back to you at our expense.
This Warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
