Indications are that RELECTRO is now the biggest local manufacturer, refurbisher and repairer of Lithium Ion batteries for the South African e-bike market. We currently use top quality 2600mAh and 2900mAh cells, but our first batch of 3500mAh cells are expected in a couple of months.

We build new batteries and refurbish old, tired and/or damaged batteries. If you have an old battery, just call us, send in your old battery and we will quote you to refurbish it, in which case it will be as good as new!
Warning: under no circumstances should you open the battery case or attempt to "investigate", "inspect" or "repair" a lithium-ion battery yourself - these batteries, if not handled by an expert, can very easily catch fire or even explode.
