Quotation policy
Written quotations can either be provided prior to batteries being sent in for refurbishing or repair, or after we have examined them (to determine precisely what work is required).
Should it be necessary for us to open a battery in order to provide a quotation, then a fee of R500 (ex VAT) will be payable to re-assemble the battery should the quote not be accepted - alternatively we can return the unassembled battery, charging only the shipping cost.
In all instances (new, refurbished and repaired batteries) shipping costs for sending batteries to customers will be for the account of the customers. Customers can elect whether or not we should insure batteries during shipping. If not, shipping will be at the customers' risk.
Capacity testing will be charged for. However, should customers elect to refurbish their batteries after they have been tested, 50% of the testing charge will be credited against the refurbishing charge.

Warning: under no circumstances should you open the battery case or attempt to "investigate", "inspect" or "repair" a lithium-ion battery yourself - these batteries, if not handled by an expert, can very easily catch fire or even explode.
Note: for safety reasons, batteries are delivered uncharged and must be charged by the customer
