We are contemplating importing really high powered geared hub motors (1,000W to 1,200W) that are light, fast and have high torque.  These motors have almost no resistance when pedaling without battery power.
    These motors would be sourced from one of the two recognised top brands in the world.
    Normally this power can only be obtained from much heavier direct drive motors which create resistance when pedaling without battery power.
